About Betsy

With a choice of Medieval, Celtic, Electric or Pedal Harp Betsy offers a wide variety of musical styles for all occasions. Although her specialty is Early Music, particularly music of the Renaissance period, she also enjoys playing arrangements of sacred and popular music.

Betsy has performed at weddings, funerals, dinners, receptions, and in a variety of church settings. In addition, she works regularly with nursing homes and retirement centers, where she provides harp music for residents, especially in assisted living and Alzheimer’s units. As a Certified Clinical Musician (CCM), Betsy works in hospitals and hospice settings to provide harp therapy to aid in relaxation and improve the quality of life for patients.Pedal and Celtic Harps

As a performer, Betsy works with Steel River Playhouse and with the Tapestry Historic Dance Company. She has provided period appropriate music and danced in costume for the Renaissance, Baroque, Colonial, Regency, and Civil War eras. She frequently works with classical guitar player Russ Ferrara to provide a wide variety of music for events.   She has also performed in the pit band for musicals as well as on stage in character roles and in films from The Forge Studios and the "Daily Bread" television show from Renaissance Women Productions.

Whatever your needs, let Betsy help make your event a day to remember!
